Privacy Policy: Preview screenshots in Github
Last updated: 2026-10-12
Preview screenshots in Github is a browser extension published by We The Folks sp. z o.o. (wethefolks.eu). It opens images on github.com pages in an in-page preview instead of a new tab. Website: imagepullrequest.com.
Data collection
The extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal or usage data.
- It runs only on
https://github.com/*pages. - It reads the page’s own DOM only to find the image you clicked and the other images on the same page, so it can show them in the preview.
- It reads the pull request or issue title and number from the page to show them in the preview and in the downloaded file’s name; this information never leaves your browser.
- Images are displayed from the same URLs GitHub already uses on the page. The only request the extension starts itself is a browser download of an image, and only when you click Download. It contacts no third-party servers.
- It uses no cookies, local storage, analytics or remote code.
Permissions
downloads: to save the image you choose to download. The extension does not read or modify your download history.- Content script on
